DUE DILIGENCE
Due Diligence Assessments are recommended to identify environmental constraints and likely regulatory requirements for projects proposed within or adjacent native vegetation, watercourses and wetlands.
DDAs involve undertaking a desktop study for the presence of significant conservation values such as Declared Rare Flora, Threatened Ecological Communities, Rare and Endangered Fauna, conservation significant wetlands and Phytophthora Dieback. This is followed by site reconnaissance to assess the existing environment and any processes that may be threatening the biodiversity values identified in the desktop study eg weeds, Phytophthora Dieback and feral animals.
As a result of a DDA, our clients can budget time and resources to avoiding and minimising impacts on biodiversity values to ensure compliance with obligations under the Wildlife Conservation Act 1950, Environmental Protection Act 1986 and the Environmental Protection (Clearing of Native Vegetation) Regulations 2004.
Call Dinglebird Environmental on 08 9433 6822 today to discuss how a DDA will assist your compliance and budgeting processes.
